The first horse inspection took place on Sunday afternoon and it has been reported that the US team was beautifully turned out (we wouldn’t expect anything less now would we?).
Monday, the draw took place and the US drew a lucky 11th position (last!). The Netherlands drew the dreaded first position and Germany, their big time rival drew 10th. Ahh, the luck of the draw!
The first day of the dressage competition is on Wednesday, August 13th. Should be an exciting competition. Would be super if the US could manage snatching a medal from the Germans or Dutch - wishful thinking, you never know!
