Well it was sure good to see some activity once again in Pine Meadow, the lower portion of the USET facilities in Gladstone, NJ. A combined driving event took place this past weekend April 30- May 2, 2011. Dressage and cones were on Saturday and Sunday, the marathon. It has been absent from the facility for 2 years but now a group of enthusiastic volunteers were eager to get it up and running again and to revitalize Gladstone which at one time hosted the World Pairs Driving in 1993 - were HRH Prince Philip attended. Four-in-hand driver James Fairclough was there coaching a student as well as another big time four-in-hand driver, Chester Weber.
